Despite his feud with Karan Johar, Kartik Aaryan remains a sought-after actor. Dhamaka, Freddy, Shehzada, Captain India, and Sajid Nadiadwala’s next film are among the actor’s upcoming projects. And now, in a series of stories, Bollywood Hungama will reveal exclusive details on Kartik’s acting fees for Shehzada, Sajid’s next film, and Freddy.

According to a source, the actor signed on for Rs. 15 crores for the yet-to-be-titled Sameer Vidwans-directed rom-com starring Kiara Advani as the female protagonist. “It’s a straightforward love story that had to be created on a tight budget. Sajid and his team were adamant on bringing in the best technicians for the project, with a strong emphasis on the music. Kartik first stated a figure in the area of Rs. 18 crores, but after the producer’s request, the figure was reduced to Rs. 15 crores “According to Bollywood Hungama, a source said.

According to the source, “Sajid Nadiadwala is one of Bollywood’s most successful producers, and Kartik is seeking for a long-term partnership with his company, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. Expect many more collaborations between the two if the yet-to-be-titled rom-com is a success. Kartik’s fee is less than his current market worth, but he understands the economics and was ready to do it for the sake of the film’s success.” For those who are unaware, Ronnie Screwvala paid the actor Rs. 21 crores to be a part of Ram Madhvani’s Dhamaka, which is set to air on Netflix shortly.

Shraddha Kapoor was replaced with Kiara Advani after the former quoted an exorbitant price to be a part of the movie, according to Bollywood Hungama. Sajid Nadiadwala was caught aback by her demands, so he chose to go on and select another actor. The film is expected to begin production before the end of the year.
