BTS’ Suga is known to be an ambitious and strong person. He has expressed time and time again that he wishes to win a Grammy award. That is why it wasn’t a surprise that Suga was asked about the Grammys 2021 in his recent interview with Weverse Magazine. In the interview, he revealed that the Grammy wasn’t all about glamour because last year, BTS couldn’t attend the awards in person. His words being, “The feeling was less immediate because we couldn’t be there in person, and it wasn’t a huge distinction.”

He added that he truly enjoyed performing Dynamite last year. He said, “But the performance made me think, ‘This is different because it’s the GRAMMYs.’”

When asked about his views on American award shows, Suga explained that while he was very nervous at first, he became more comfortable later on. He said, “What changed my view from the first time I went to an American music awards ceremony was, the first time I went, I was really scared of the world’s biggest music market. But when I look back now, I don’t think I had any reason to feel that intimidated.”

He also talked about how he wasn’t able to enjoy American award shows but now, it isn’t the same, “To be honest, I have only now begun to enjoy the awards ceremonies; I wasn’t able to then.”
