Jimin, a member of BTS, became a year older on Wednesday. While his fellow BTS members wished him a happy birthday on social media, Jimin spent some time with the ARMY. J-Hope and Jungkook also joined him for a short while.

During the live conversation, the musician said he had plans to have supper with his family, according to a translation provided by Twitter user @doyou bangtan. Jimin admitted that spending time with his family on his birthday is difficult for him because he spent most of his adolescent and early adult years in Seoul.

“So, while it’s a little difficult for him to spend his birthday with his parents, he’s overjoyed. “In past years, he’d just be able to accept congrats from his members and/or friends and have a drink when feasible,” the fan account wrote.

Jimin decided to contact Jungkook and invite him to join his conversation after speaking with the fans for a while. While Jungkook said he was still at the gym, he was by Jimin’s side in no time. J-Hope then joined the group. The three of them shared shots of soju (an alcoholic drink from Korea.)

Jimin also expressed his gratitude for all of the fans’ efforts to make his birthday extra memorable. He also mentioned that his feelings for the fans have changed over time.

“Jimin stated when he first met ARMYs, he believed they were like buddies or co-workers, people who could throw arms over each other’s shoulders,” BTS fan Soo Choi translated. However, as time passes, the emotion grows stronger, and he realises it’s more than just a buddy; it’s tough to describe.” The singer went on to say that he had to finish his live performance shortly because he needed to eat supper with his family.
