Justin Bieber and Hailey Beiber recently attended the Met Gala 2021, and the couple looked incredibly lovely twinning in black. During their red carpet debut, they had to deal with an unpleasant moment when supporters camped outside the venue and yelled Selena Gomez’s name upon the couple’s arrival. A video of Justin and Hailey’s awkward moment went viral, and now Ireland Baldwin has reacted by commenting on the video.

In the video, as soon as the couple walks down the red carpet, people begin shouting the name ‘Selena,’ which astonished everyone. Many viewers also wondered if Justin instructs Hailey in the video, “Don’t cry,” at one point. Reacting to the footage, which appears unlikely, Ireland Baldwin believes the couple may not have been affected by the haters. “They don’t care,” Baldwin wrote about his detractors.

Meanwhile, in response to the recent incident, Baldwin commented on a TikTok video in which she feels that Gomez’s supporters allegedly ruined Justin and Hailey’s red carpet arrival and said, “They’re one of the happiest and most in love couples I’ve ever gotten the chance to be around. They don’t care about them”.

This year’s Met Gala was Justin and Hailey’s first appearance as a couple. Hailey has previously walked the red carpet with Shawn Mendes at the event in 2018. Justin and Hailey made the Met Gala 2021 even more special for them as they celebrated their third wedding anniversary on the same day as the event.
