There have been various adaptations of Louisa May Alcott’s Little Women on stage, movie, and television. The narrative will be converted into a K-Drama for Netflix for the first time in history, and will premiere in August 2022.

Little Women is an upcoming South Korean drama series with an international licence that is based on Louisa May Alcott’s renowned novel of the same name.

Kim Hee Won, who previously helmed Vincenzo, Money Flower, and Fated to Love You, is directing the series. Jung Seo Kyung, who previously authored the screenplays for The Handmaiden, Mother, and Thirst, is responsible for the series’ adaptation.

The first episode of the South Korean version of Little Women will premiere on Netflix on Saturday, August 27th, 2022, at the time of writing.

There will be twelve episodes in all, with new episodes broadcast twice a week on Saturdays and Sundays for a total of six weeks. The season finale will air on October 2nd, 2022.

Each episode will be about 60 minutes long.

Three sisters who were up in poverty and have a tight affinity. It follows the sisters as they become entangled in a huge event and square off against the country’s wealthiest family.

Oh, In Joo, played by Kim Go Eun, is the eldest sister who wants to use money to defend her family. Her sole desire as a child growing up in terrible poverty was to live as comfortably as other people, but her life is turned upside down when a big catastrophe occurs.

Nam Ji Hyun plays the second sister, Oh In Kyung, a news reporter who refuses to bend down to money and strives to always do the right thing. When a puzzling case from her early days as a reporter resurfaces, she begins her investigation.

Park Ji Hu morphs into Oh In Hye, the youngest sister who is overwhelmed by her big sisters’ affection. Despite the fact that, due to their family’s poor position, she has never utilized proper art tools, she attends an art high school with her innate skill.
