Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is among the most popular television show. Munmun Dutta, who portrays the role of Babita Ji on the programme, hasn’t been seen in over for two months. Earlier, the rumours said that the actress had quit the show, but now recently the actress was spotted on the set of TMKOC, according to the reports. She’ll also be seen in an episode of this week, but an official confirmation on the same is still awaited.

There had been rumours that the actress was leaving the show, but she has now spoken out, claiming that those were just the rumours. Munmun told The Times of India that, “People are saying that I did not report on the sets of the show, and it is untrue. Currently, the track in the show did not require my presence. Therefore, I was not called for shooting. I don’t decide that. I am just an individual who goes to work, does her job, and comes back.”

Further, the TMKOC fame actress added, “If I plan to quit the show, I will announce it.” From past few days the actress was gaining headlines after she accidently use the word ‘bhangi’ in a video that she uploaded and later deleted from her social media handle. She was mocked on social media for using discriminatory language. Later, the actress apologised on social media and asked fans to forgive her.

For the past 13 years, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has been engaging viewers. It is one of the most popular television shows.
