Anu Malik’s mother Bilquis dies after suffering a stroke, Amaal Malik and Armaan Malik pays tribute

Bilquis Malik, wife of late music composer Sardar Malik and mother of Daboo Malik, Anu Malik, and Abu Malik who passed away on Sunday, July 25 was cremated on Monday, July 26. She was 86 years old. Bilquis was rushed to Mumbai’s Arogya Nidhi Hospital after she suffered a stroke on July 22.

Music composer Abu Malik, who was last seen on a reality show, Bigg Boss 13, paid his last respects to his mother. Taking to Instagram, he wrote, “We all hold hands in prayer for my dearest mother. She like all mothers was the greatest living soul on Mother Earth.”

Music composer Amaal Malik also paid his tribute and wrote that burying his grandmother with his own hands was the ‘most difficult task’ of his life and further in his post write, “The OG Malik has left us.” Taking to the gram he wrote, “It was the most difficult task of my life to bury you with my own hands today. I cried hopelessly for a last hug, but you had already gone. You wanted to be buried right next to your husband and I’m glad we could make that happen. As I left, it began to rain and I looked up to the skies & smiled knowing that you are right where you wanted to be, united with Dada in another dimension, just like this picture.”

Singer Armaan Malik also took to Instagram to mourn his grandmother’s death. Sharing a photo and videos with her, the singer wrote, “Lost my best friend today my Dadi Jaan. The light of my life. I still cannot process this loss. A void I know nobody can fill. You were the cutest, the most precious human being ever. I am so grateful that I got so much time with you and got all your love, hugs, and kisses. Allah, my angel is now with you.”

Armaan shared one of the videos from the hospital where he can be seen caressing and then kissing his grandmother’s forehead.

Bilquis was buried at the Santa Cruz Kabrastan on Monday. She is survived by her three sons, daughters-in-law, and her grandkids, music composer Amaal Malik, singer Armaan Malik, actor and stand-up comedian Aadar Malik, Ada Malik, Anmol Malik, and Kashish Malik.
