In an exclusive conversation with Daya Shankar Pandey, we asked him about his adored character Chalu Pandey in the show, “It has been 10 years since Chalu Pandey has been a part of the gokuldham family. Initially, I only belonged to the creative team of the show but when this character was written for an episodic, Aasit asked me to do the role and the reaction we received for Chalu Pandey was completely unexpected. Since then, he has been a pivotal part of the show, the love I have received in all these years for my role as Chalu Pandey who enters at intervals is overwhelming”.
We got Chatty with Mr Pandey and asked him about the characters he’d love to play and his inspiration, “I had always dreamt to have roles like Amitabh Bachchan. He has been my idol ever since I decided to act. I believe that an actor should always be satisfied with his work. It is always important to love what you do only then you would receive the same love from the viewers. I try my best to give 100% to all my characters for the best performance on screen.”
