The weekend is here and it is a good time to unwind and watch all the best shows that the OTT world has to offer. While there are a couple of new releases that celebrate the theme of Independence, the spotlight for this weekend are two series – Modern Love and What If…?
Modern Love
Riding high on the resounding success of Modern Love season 1, Amazon Prime Video is set to launch the second season of the highly-anticipated season today. Having celebrated the essence of romance in the first season, the second season seems to be much more exciting as it brings to life a collection of stories about relationships, connections, betrayal and revelations. Each episode showcases love in all of its complicated and beautiful forms.
If you have not watched season 1 (you must certainly do that because it was lovely). you can still dive straight into this season.
The makers have promised that this season is even better than the first so we are looking forward to watching it. A word of caution, if you are as soft-hearted as I am, please keep the box of tissues handy! Some of the mushy love stories, warrant having one close by.
What If…?
Get set to enter the multiverse of unlimited possibilities as Marvel Studios’ first animated series What If…? The show was released on 11th August only on Disney+ Hotstar. The series flips the script on the MCU, reimagining famous events from the films in unexpected ways. It focuses on different heroes from the MCU, featuring a voice cast that includes a host of stars who reprise their roles. Directed by Bryan Andrews with Ashley Bradley as head writer, here’s everything you need to know about What If…? ahead of its eagerly-awaited release on Disney+ Hotstar.
