Priyanka Chopra remembered her late father, Dr Ashok Chopra on his 71st birth anniversary. The actress shared a picture of the same on her Instagram handle. Dr Ashok Chopra was born on August 23, 1950.
Priyanka Chopra lost her father to cancer in 2013. The actress was extremely close to her father and always remembers him. She celebrated her father’s birth anniversary with a cake that had ‘Happy birthday papa’ written on it. Sharing a photo of the cake on Instagram she and also tagged her mother, Madhu Chopra, and brother, Siddharth Chopra.
Not only Priyanka Chopra, but her mother Madhu Chopra and brother, Siddharth Chopra also remembered late Dr Ashok Chopra and shared the post on social media. Madhu shared a picture with her late husband. “The best,” she captioned the post.
Sharing a throwback picture, Siddharth Chopra wrote, “#Dad #happy birthday.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Priyanka has a bunch of interesting projects lined up. She will be seen in Text For You, which also features Sam Heughan and Celine Dion in the lead roles. She will also be seen in Citadel, Kalpana Chawla Biopic, Sheela, and many others.
Recently, Farhan Akhtar announced his next film starring Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt titled, Jee Le Zaraa. The film’s shoot will begin in 2022.
