Prakash Raj and his wife Pony Verma celebrated their 11th wedding anniversary on August 24. This wedding anniversary was unique, as their son Vedhant wanted to witness his parents getting married. The couple happily obliged their son’s request who wanted to see their parents getting married in front of him. Prakash’s daughters Meghana and Pooja, from Raj’s previous marriage, were also present at the wedding ceremony.
Taking to Twitter, Prakash Raj shared pictures from his wedding-cum-anniversary celebrations and wrote: “We got married again tonight..because our son #vedhant wanted to witness it. Family moments #bliss.”
Prakash Raj and Pony Verma got married on 24th August 2010, and are parents to son Vedhant. The Wanted actor was earlier married to Lalitha Kumari and they got separated in 2009.
In another tweet, Prakash shared a throwback picture from his marriage ceremony with Pony Verma. Along with the picture, he wrote, “It turned out so right.. for strangers in the night’.. thank you, my darling wife.. for being a wonderful friend.. a lover and a great co-traveler in our life together.. #happyweddinganniversary @PonyPrakashraj.”
Prakash Raj, who is currently recovering from his shoulder surgery, was last seen in the Netflix anthology Navarasa. The pan-India actor now has a slew of interesting projects lined up. He will be seen in KGF: Chapter 2, Pushpa, Annaatthe, and Ponniyin Selvan.
