People are freaking out after seeing a video of a snake rescuer and a king cobra. The video, which was shared on Twitter by Indian Forest Service officer Parveen Kaswan, has gone viral on the internet after the cobra appears at the door with his head raised, which is both frightening and fascinating.
The snake rescuer can be seen standing outside a door in the viral video, with only the cobra’s tail visible. When the snake rescuer catches the cobra’s tail and tries to pull it out, it appears at the door standing nearly four feet tall. Kaswan attempted to raise awareness by sharing the video, saying, “King cobras are majestic creatures. The scientific name is; Ophiophagus hannah. “Ophiophagus” is derived from Greek, meaning “snake-eating” and hannah is derived from the name of tree-dwelling nymphs in Greek mythology. Their diet includes other all other snakes.”
Further, Kaswan also mentioned that “The person just got a second life actually,” because the cobra did not harm the snake rescuer.
As per the viral video, The 14-foot-long king cobra was spotted inside the bathroom of a Karnataka home in Belthangady last week. According to local reports, the snake was removed from the premises by local snake expert and rescuer Ashok, and the reptile was captured and later released into a nearby forest.
The video actually scared people online, and everyone shared their thoughts after seeing it. One user wrote, OMG!!! I’m shivering because I’ve never seen something like this in my life. Whereas another user wrote, “Who is rescuing whom ??!!!! That Kobra seems to be asking, ‘hi what’s the matter, may I help you ??!”
According to National Geographic, the king cobra is one of the world’s most venomous snakes and can literally “stand up” and stare a full-grown person in the eye.
