Nargis Fakhri has been in the United States since the outbreak began, and while she misses the arc lights and they miss her, the standoff continues. On sporadic travels to the United States, she’s been hooking up with old pals Ileana D’Cruz and Huma Qureshi. Varun Dhawan also sends out the occasional ‘was sup’ message on Instagram. Her stunning beauty and exotic personality were absolutely unique, and Bollywood can’t forget about her. Even many who panned her acting abilities in her first film, “Rockstar,” admitted that her mere presence was captivating.

It’s been a turbulent ten years, but it’s been an incredible adventure. With appreciation, I reflect on the voyage.

That’s a long tale, but the short version is that I received an audition email. This occurred to me, and I truly feel it was fate. I didn’t even live in India and had never visited it. Imtiaz, according to what I’ve heard, saw an ad for a jewelry campaign featuring me that I filmed while living in Greece. And I’m guessing he obtained my information from the firm, and the rest is history. The extended version is far more intriguing, although I should definitely publish it as a book.

I had a modelling background and had done a lot of TV commercials before going into films, so facing the camera for the first time was actually very simple for me. Imtiaz Ali also has a knack for making his performers feel at ease in front of the camera. He’s a fantastic filmmaker.

During the shoot, you got along swimmingly with Ranbir Kapoor and even Neetu Kapoor. Tell us about your relationship with them.

I am delighted to have worked with Ranbir as my first co-star to this day. He’s a terrific performer who’s also a pleasure to work with. It was also a privilege to get to meet his mother, who was extremely nice to me. Because I was alone in India at the time, having her in my life was really reassuring.
