‘MGR Magan,’ a film starring Sasikumar and Samuthirakani, is expected to be released on an OTT platform. The movie was supposed to be out on April 23 this year, but it had to be postponed owing to the second wave of coronavirus. According to many rumours, the rural drama would air on Disney+ Hotstar during Diwali. The filmmakers have neither verified or disputed these allegations, which surfaced following a tweet from Lets OTT Global, a website that provides OTT platform updates and reviews.
MGR Magan is a Tamil film written and directed by Ponram, a well-known Tamil director. The production company Screen Scene is financing it. Sasikumar, Samuthirakani, Sathyaraj, Mirnalini Ravi, Singam Puli, and Saranya Ponvannan will play key parts in the film. The film’s plot centres on a father-son combo in a South Indian hamlet.
The film’s theme revolves around a guy who attempts to demolish a mountain in the hamlet. The villagers’ usual lives are disrupted as a result of this. The film depicts how the villagers band together to defeat the evil.
Vinoth Rathinasamy is in charge of cinematography, Vivek Harshan of editing, and G Durariranj of art direction. Anthony Daasan composed the soundtrack for the movie. The film’s action sequences were directed by Stunt Silva.
The actors and crew completed filming for the picture just last year, but the film’s release was repeatedly postponed.
The film was expected to enter theatres a few weeks ago, according to reports. However, contrary to popular belief, the picture is expected to receive an OTT release. The directors have yet to make an official release date announcement.
