“Film shootings at this hard period have altered so much from what they used to be,” actor Sanjay Dutt says of the changes that have occurred in the film business as a result of the epidemic.

Due of the pandemic’s back-and-forth release dates, the Hindi film industry has suffered delays and losses in the last two years. Following a recent setback due to an increase in the number of Covid cases, Bollywood is regaining its footing, and Sanjay Dutt applauds the industry’s tenacity.

“Film shoots at this hard period have altered so much from what they used to be,” Dutt says of the changes that have occurred in the film business as a result of the epidemic. A hive of activity has suddenly become disciplined, coordinated, cautious, and mindful of all COVID criteria and precautions.”

“It’s actually extremely commendable how the business has rebounded back and found a way to get back on its feet despite the countless hurdles,” the actor quickly adds.

However, the 62-year-old concedes that the audience’s appetite for exceptional programming has grown as a result of their exposure to the OTT platform’s diversity. Dutt, who has had OTT hits including Sadak 2, Torbaaz, and Bhuj: The Pride of India, believes that now is the moment to evolve, reinvent, and move forward.

“The OTT platform, in my opinion, is an irrefutable force to be reckoned with.” While the West had adopted it much earlier, India has seen a big surge in the last two years, particularly during the epidemic, and it was the go-to platform for amusement during COVID in many respects,” he explains. “It’s a natural progression as technology advances and entertainment options expand.

It also enables individuals from all around the world to see Indian movies and vice versa. It also supports creativity since it promotes innovation, originality, and cutting-edge material as a platform. I’m delighted my films were available on the OTT platform during the epidemic because my goal has always been to entertain viewers, and I’m glad I was able to do it in some manner.

With three major films set to hit theatres this year (Shamshera, KGF2, and Prithiviraj), Dutt just signed a comedy picture with Sunil Shetty.
