Deepika Padukone, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ananya Panday starrer Gehraiyaan movie has been released on an OTT platform Amazon prime and creating a buzz for its mixed reviews. Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut also shared her review about the film in her Instagram post and here what she has to say.
Known for her best acting skills, Kangana Ranaut slams Deepika Padukone’s Gehraiyaan as a ‘bad movie’ and said that “no amount of skin show or pornography can save it”.
She wrote, “I am also a millennial but I identify and understand this kind of romance…in the name of millennial/new age/urban movies don’t sell trash pls…bad movies are bad movies no amount of skin show or pornography can save it …it’s a basic fact koi gehraiyaan wali baat nahi hai 😉 (sic).”
Kangana also shared a video clip of a song from Himalay Ki God Mein (1965). The film, a love triangle like Gehraiyaan, starred Manoj Kumar, Mala Sinha and Shashikala.
Gehraiyaan, is the film about complex modern relationships and released on Amazon Prime Video on Friday. Directed by Shakun Batra, the film is about a woman who finds herself at a quandary in life. She is stuck in her six year relationship and her career seems to no new way to grow. However, the arrival of her cousin backs to her life forces her to confront a troubled childhood and past. The film features Deepika Padukone, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ananya Panday and Dhairya Karwa in leads.
