Deepika Padukone has stated that when her and Katrina Kaif made their Bollywood debuts, the business was still adjusting to the culture of managers and public relations teams.

Deepika Padukone made her Bollywood debut in 2007 with Farah Khan’s Om Shanti Om, whereas Katrina Kaif’s first film was Boom, released in 2003.

Deepika recounted how she and Katrina made their acting debuts when neither of them had a manager and how they learned from their errors along the road in an interview.

“When I first started, I didn’t have a publicist or a management,” she explained. I used to do my own hair and makeup, and I used to dress myself. We were the first few individuals, including me, Katrina Kaif, who had a mix of both, where we didn’t have it and then that culture started moving in and we adapted to it.”

“Whereas nowadays, girls and boys are perfectly prepared,” Deepika said. They are instructed on how to stand, sit, behave themselves, what to say, what not to say, what to dress, what not to wear, how to do their hair, and how to do their makeup, and a part of me thinks to myself, “It’s amazing,” because we didn’t have any of that.” We developed into it over time, making errors along the way, but a part of me enjoys that because it allows you to discover who you are.”

On February 11, Deepika’s film Gehraiyaan was launched on Amazon Prime. Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ananya Panday, and Dhairya Karwa feature in the Shakun Batra directed film. Viewers have had a mixed reaction to the picture. Her next film will be Rohit Shetty’s Cirkus, in which she will co-star alongside her spouse Ranveer Singh. Fighter, starring Hrithik Roshan, and Pathan, starring Shah Rukh Khan, are among her upcoming features.
