Mahesh Babu discussed his Bollywood debut at a recent media encounter at the trailer premiere of Adivi Sesh’s Major. He said that the Hindi film business ‘cannot afford him,’ thus he won’t spend his time shooting one. Sarkaru Vaari Paata, the actor’s latest film, is set to be released soon. The film, directed by Parasuram Petla, will hit theatres on May 12th.
The Telugu actor cleared the air a few weeks ago regarding dabbling in Bollywood and acting in a Hindi film. The actor denied the rumors and stated that he intends to stay in Telugu movies. He recently stated why he refuses to work in Hindi films.
Mahesh Babu has discussed his aspirations to branch out into OTT. He stated that he was born for the big screen and would not consider venturing into the digital realm.
According to Sarileru Neekevvaru, “I had several proposals in Hindi, but I doubt they can afford me. I don’t want to waste my time in a field that cannot support me. I never considered quitting my business and moving into another because of the celebrity and respect I receive here [the South]. I’ve always wanted to make movies and becoming famous. My dream is finally becoming a reality, and I couldn’t be happier.”
Mahesh Babu’s most recent film was Sarileru Neekevvaru, which came out in 2020. Sarkaru Vaari Petla, directed by Parasuram Petla, is the actor’s forthcoming film. Following that, the actor would collaborate with SS Rajamouli on an adventure thriller.
