Kartik Aaryan is a baby faced crook and yet, the formidable Thakur clan falls for his rookie black-magic tricks, especially the well-sheltered scion Kiara Advani. Inspite of being a sequel to a smash hit, Anees Bazmee’s BB2 does not succumb to external pressure..it holds on its own..one voodoo doll at a time.
Now, this is what all actors dream of ….to score a half-century in the opening weekend. Bhool Bhulaiyaa had a wonderful opening of 14.11 crores, followed by 18 crores on Day 2. The lead pair are dancing to their victory and Anees Baazmee stands validated in his style of film-making which most people felt had become outdated.
In a telephonic interview with the Times of India, he said, “I knew I was making a good, clean film which the kids would enjoy. It was not an easy film to make. It is easier to make a comedy or horror films but not horror comedies. My whole aim was that darte darte hasse aur haste haste darren. I have been able to achieve that. I am not saying that I succeed with all films. At times, my judgment and gut have gone wrong. But it’s time we all learn from our mistakes.”
Kartik and Kiara were awesome, energetic, and focused. Kartik is a sensible actor who works very hard. Kiara has shown tremendous growth and is a beautiful and charming actress.
Within three days of its release, the film has earned 55.96 crores at the box office. Actor Vivek Agnihotri congratulated the actor on his success. Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote, “Bhool Bhulaiyaa2 infuses oxygen in an ailing industry…….it is a massive achievement.”
