The movie Satyaprem ki Katha, featuring Kartik Aryan and Kiara Advani is eagerly awaited and the melodious tracks have caught everyone’s attention. The latest number out is Pasoori Nu by Arjit Singh and this has caused a stir. A lot of flax has been received from the fans.
To give you details about the song, Pasoori was originally sung by Pakistani singers Ali Sethi and Shae Gill. The song is very popular and is one of the most googled numbers of the year 2022. Arjit Singh has lent his voice for the recreated version of this Pakistani number. The rights of the song were with Ali and Coke Studio, and the they approved of this.
A fan quizzed, “I was also disappointed to hear that you agreed to do a remake. Throughout my life, I have always considered you to be extraordinary in the way you exist as a singer. But I was unaware of the greater purpose behind this song of yours. I am bewildered,” wrote a fan.
Arjit replied, “The maker had promised me a yearly fund for a school for under priviledged.”
Directed by Sameer Vidwans and produced by Sajid Naiawala, the movie is set to hit the screens on 29th June, 2023.
Arjit Singh seems to have been paid between 12 to 15 lakhs for this song.
