We are eager to see Kalki Koechlin along with Deepti Naval in the movie ‘Goldfish.’ Co-produced by ex-husband Anurag Kashyap, Kalki feels they are at peace now.
In an interview, when quizzed about their equation, Kalki stated, “I’m very much at ease now with Anurag. We’ve been through so much together, and so much apart. We’ve reached a place of peace between us. He wasn’t involved in this film till it was screened at Busan international film festival. He saw the film in Busan, loved it, and was really supportive about it. And we’re really glad to have him on board. So yeah, we’re good now.”
When asked if he was better as a friend or filmmaker, she answered, “We are genuinely friends now, and he is going to love cinema always, but he is a good friend.’
The duo was married for over 4 years before they divorced in 2015. Kalki was seen at Anurag’s daughter Aaliyah’s engagement ceremony. Kalki was there with her boyfriend and daughter, Sappho, who is a great dancer.
Talking about her equation with Aaliyah, she said, “Aaliyah is very cute with my daughter. They really have kind of a playful thing. So, basically, my daughter thinks Aaliyah is a real princess. So, she’s in awe of her. It’s good to have one more babysitter around.”
Kalki and Anurag have also worked together in the web series Sacred Games and Dev D.
