The first promo of ‘The Crew’ is out and everyone’s left gazing at the three women. The first promo was out on Friday on Instagram with Tabu, Kirti Sanon and Kareena Kapoor dressed in red uniform walking together inside an airport with their backs towards the camera.
Kareena Kapoor’s Instagram post read, “Buckle up, get your popcorn ready and get ready to be served. The Crew releasing in theatres this March!” Kirti shared the promo and posted, “Clear your calendars, call your friends. This March, you’re flying with The Crew! Arriving in cinemas March 29. Poster and title announcement soon!”
The movie also has Diljit on board and is produced by Rhea Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor. The movie is a comedy of errors. The official statement is that the movie is about three women who work and hustle to move on with life, but as they make their way ahead, due to some untoward instances, they get caught up in a web of lies.
Kareena in an interview stated that female actresses were more comfortable sharing screen space with their female counterparts. She said, “Men kind of think about themselves, women on the other hand have a quality where they also think about the other person. In a male centric film it is mainly about the men…maybe they don’t like to share and women do..we are always thinking about each other on the film.”
