For those that missed the 77th BAFTA Awards, they are playing on Lionsgate Play in India and each one of us should see it for Deepika, the Indian beauty.
Deepika was seen wearing a golden saree by Sabyasachi, with sequins work all over, paired with a strappy blouse and presented the award with ample grace. She presented the award for the Film not in English Language Award category. Before presenting the award, Deepika introduced the nominations of the categories, “The incredible stories nominated in this category, depict real and imagined worlds that stay with us long after the credits roll. From Alps to Andes, South Poland to Seoul and to Ukraine, the nominees are…”- and the AV rolled out the nominations that were 20 days in Mariupol, Anatomy of a Fall, Past Lives, Society of the Snow and the Zone of Interest.”
“And the BAFTA goes to..The Zone of Interest,” Deepika announced. She attended the Oscars in 2023, where she introduced the award-winning song Naatu Naatu.
Fans went berserk over her look. One said, “This look! Soon to be copied by Alia though.” Another wrote, “Deepika Padukone is representing India at the BAFTA Awards looking like a bomb.”
On the work front, she was last seen in Fighter. She will soon be seen in Kalki 2989 AD and maybe White Lotus season 3.
