A famous bollywood actor and director Tariq Shah has passed away today morning (April 3) in Mumbai at a private hospital. Tariq Shah was having kidney ailments and was undergoing dialysis treatment for the last two years.
He is survived by veteran actress wife Shoma Anand and a daughter Sarah Shah. Shoma started her career from the movie Barood starring opposite Rishi Kapoor. She is popularly known for her roles in was also seen in Hungama, Kyaa Kool Hai Hum, Coolie and Kal Ho Naa Ho.
Viral Bhayani took to twitter to share the news of his demise. He wrote, “Actor director Tariq Shah of serial “Kadwa Sach” and film “Janam Kundali” fame expired today morning at a private hospital in Mumbai. He was the husband of Shoma Anand. May Allah bless the departed soul. #tariqshah #shomaanand omshanti.”
He was known for films like Bahaar Aane Tak, Ehssas, Gumnaan Hai Koi, Mumbai Central and Bhaggmati-The Queen of Fortunes. He has directed films like Janam Kundli and Bahaar Aane Tak. Tariq also directed and produced the movie, Kadwa Sach.
