The shooting of upcoming movie based on serious rape issues, ‘The Rapist’ has been completed in New Delhi. The film is directed by Konkana’s mother and Bengali film maker Aparna Sen and is produced jointly by Applause entertainment and Quest films. The film features Arjun Rampla, Konkana Sen Sharma and Tanmay Dhanania. The movie is all set to release later this year.

The story of the film examines how much the society is responsible for producing the rapist. It will show case the circumstances, the victim’s trauma, and how the victim deals with it.
