The trick of a Karnataka guy with three snakes backfired when one of the serpents attacked him. Maaz Sayed, a snake enthusiast from Sirsi, was caught on camera handling three cobras in a “horrific” way, according to various specialists. He was observed squatting in front of the snakes, pulling on their tails, and moving his hands around, all of which the cobras may have seen as menacing and responded furiously to.

Unfortunately, this is exactly what occurred to Mr Sayed, whose YouTube channel is full of similar films. When one of the snakes unexpectedly attacked him, his most recent act ended on a terrible note. The snake lunges at the stuntman and bites his leg, according to footage that has gone viral on the internet. Even as the horrified guy tried to pull it away, the lizard refused to let go.

Susanta Nanda, an Indian Forest Service official, shared the video on Twitter and chastised the snake handler. “This is a very heinous method of dealing with cobras… The snake perceives the movement as a danger and follows it. The reaction might be catastrophic at times “he penned

Mr Sayed was hospitalised after the cobra bit him, according to a Facebook post by Priyanka Kadam, President and Founder of Snakebite Healing and Education Society.

Cobra is the common term for a variety of elapid snakes, all of which are poisonous. Mr Sayed is said to have received 46 doses of anti-venom when his stunt backfired.

Ms Kadam posted images of the snake handler, who is 20 years old, in the hospital. “He is recovering in a private hospital in Sirsi, Karnataka,” she said yesterday in an update. While Ms Kadam had previously urged for Maaz Sayed to be arrested for “putting up content that is plainly an abuse of animals,” she then proposed that the teenager be guided by an expert.

“Perhaps an expert can assist him. He wasn’t arrogant in the least. Respectfully, I spoke. He is still sick. I’ll get in touch with him once he’s completely recovered “she penned

Similar acts should be avoided, according to Atul Pai, a snake and animal rescuer from Mangalore. Mr Pai posted on Facebook, “A young snake enthusiast Maaz Sayed from Sirsi, Karnataka was bitten by a spectacled cobra as he was showing off having three cobras and fooling around with them.” “This is a really common prank that a lot of people undertake, and they don’t realise how dangerous it is! Unnecessary handling and tinkering can have catastrophic consequences.”
