Drishyam is one of the most popular Malayalam movies that has been adapted into a Bollywood movie. The storyline for Drishyam is unique, amazing, and thrilling. As it would seem, the second part has also become a hit and Ajay Devgn will play the lead role yet again.
This was back in 2013 and now, the movie is back again. The sequel to the film was released earlier this year in February on Amazon Prime Video. Soon after the sequel was released, the remake of the film in different languages was announced. The movie starred Mohanlal in the lead.
Now, new reports have informed that Ajay Devgn will start working on the second series in this movie series soon enough. He will first wrap up his ongoing projects like Mayday, Maidaan, Thank God, and his Disney+Hotstar web series Rudra. Devgn has given his dates from late December for Drishyam 2. He will be returning as Vijay Salgaonkar along with actors Tabu, Shriya Saran, and Ishita Dutta.
The last movie brought the family under the police’s radar as they tried to navigate through life. The sequel will now show what happened next.
Filmmaker Abhishek Pathak will be directing the sequel of this movie. The last movie was directed by Nishikant Kamat who passed away last year.
