Alia Bhatt and Meghna Gulzar’s masterpiece Raazi grabbed everyone’s attention for the kind of film it was. The one masterpiece is still stuck in people’s head. Recently Jaideep Ahlawat, who was also a main part of the film and played Khalid Mir in Alia Bhatt starrer Raazi, revealed to BollywoodLife in an exclusive interview whether director Meghna Gulzar could revisit the world of Raazi for a sequel.
In the same interview, Jaideep Ahlawat added, “I’ll be very happy to return to Pataal Lok. It was one of the first shows that released during the first lockdown, people loved it and it had set the benchmark for the craze that people developed for OTT content since then. However, I’m not aware of the situation of Paatal Lok 2 – the makers alone will be the right people to answer that, you’ll have to ask them. Hopefully, it’ll happen soon.”
Jaideep Ahlawat can be seen in his next Bloody Brothers. Bloody Brothers is a remake of British TV series Guilt. It’s a story of two brothers who stand poles apart – Jaggi and Daljeet accidentally kill an old man on a darkened residential street. The duo manages to hide their crime but when others start to suspect, the brothers’ lives start falling apart. They soon find they can’t trust anyone.
Bloody Brothers also has Mohammad Zeeshan Ayyub, Tina Desai, Satish Kaushik, Maya Alagh, Mugdha Godse and Shruti Seth in lead roles.
