Met Gala is a perfect opportunity to present yourself and Alia Bhatt looks ethereal at the event. For her debut look, she opted for a pristine white gown with a billowing silhouette from the shelves of Prabal Gurung.
The theme for this year’s event is “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty.” The exhibit celebrates the legacy of the designer who passed away in 2019.
Alia Bhatt slayed it at the event. She wore a gown detailed with pearls and a single glove, pearls and gloves are two of Karl Lagerfeld’s signature elements. The long train, corseted finish and the pristine white shade of Alia’s ensemble took inspiration from Karl Lagerfeld’s unforgettable bridal collection at the House of Chanel. The person who designed the outfit is none other than the Nepalese- American fashion designer Prabal Gurung. Gurung, launched his fashion his line in 2009 at the New York Fashion Week. And since then, he has a huge fan following. The Duchess of Cambridge, Anne Hathaway and Michelle Obama as well, love his collection.
To complete her look, Alia styled her hair in a half-tied ponytail, high-heels, subtle smoky eye shadow, kohl lined eyes, mascara, nude lipstick and a dewy base. Alia looked angelic in her attire.
This year, Priyanka Chopra, Isha Ambani and Natasha Poonawalla are also attending the Met Gala that is being held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
Proud mom-in-law Neetu Kapoor shares Alia’s looks from the event and calls her ‘stunning.’
