Actor Pearl V Puri, had been on headlines, ever since the actor was arrested under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POCSO) Act for the alleged rape and molestation of a minor actor. The actor was arrested by Waliv police on June 4 and was granted bail on June 15. The actor shared a post today on his social media handle, thanking his fans, friends and well-wishers for keeping faith in him.
In the post the actor stated, “Life has its own way of testing people! I lost my nani ma few months back, then on her 17th day I lost my dad post that my mother got diagnosed with cancer and then its ghastly accusation. Last couple of weeks were gruelling for me like a nightmare. I was overnight, made to feel like a criminal. All of this in the midst of my mother’s cancer treatment, it shattered my sense of security, making me feel helpless. I am still numb…. but I felt it’s time to reach out to my friends, fans and well-wishers who’ve showered me with their love, support and concern.”
Pearl thanked everyone for their support in his hard times and felt blessed about it. Ceasing the post the actor talked about believing in Satyamev Jayate, he said that, “I trust in the law, judiciary of my country and God up there. Please keep your duas coming.” And mentioned a prayer emoji.
The post captioned reads as, “I feel blessed to have each one of y’all thank you for being my biggest strength.”
His post was showered by the blessings of his friends and fans. Actress Divya Khosla Kumar that was seen supporting pearl throughout commented that, “Pearl we all know what the truth is & how those Shameless people made you a scapegoat in their own personal matters …Really hope u get justice at the earliest.” While his other friend Ridhima Tiwari commented, “Prayers for truth to come out soon.”
Akanksha Singh also showered her support and blessing by saying, “We are always with you Pearl !! Don’t ever feel you are alone, we are in this with you !! Stay strong !! God bless you always.”
The alleged rape incident took place back in 2019, on the sets of Bepanah Pyaarr. The girl is the daughter of Pearl’s co-star.
