The 30 October 2021 episode of Anupama opens with Anu praying to God for the family’s health, but she expresses her doubts because they do not respect women. Mamaji asks Anu not to leave the home as she prepares to depart, but Bapuji appears unexpectedly and instructs Mamaji not to stop Anu. He goes on to state that he heard practically everything Baa, Vanraj, and Kavya said, and that he knows what they would have said if he hadn’t been present.
Bapuji then encourages Anu, telling her that leaving the house is the greatest option she can make, and that she should not stay in the house any longer. Baa then stops Bapuji and claims he has no idea what’s going on, to which Bapuji shuts her up and tells her that he doesn’t want to know anything. He then informs Anu that she must demonstrate their actual status to Baa, Vanraj, and Kavya. Bapuji then apologises to Anu for interrupting her previously, but she requests that he not do so again. Samar then tells Anu that this house does not merit her and that she should go. When Bapuji phones Samar, he quickly responds that even if he wasn’t asked, he will join Anu. Mamaji then tells Anu that she is deserving of a wonderful life, while Bapuji warns her not to accept any wrongdoing from anyone. Later, while the others are startled, Samar, Nandini, Pakhi, Mamaji, and Bapuji urge Anu to move on with her life.
Anu and Samar will go to Anu’s mother’s house and remain together in the future episode. Anu’s mother then expresses her gratitude for what she has done, and the three of them enjoy a good time together. Vanraj, on the other hand, removes Anu’s nameplate from the home and informs everyone that no one in this house will take her name.
