Veteran actor Anupam Kher often digs out vintage snaps and shares them on social media. On Monday, the veteran actor remembered the departed soul Yash Chopra. He penned an emotional note remembering filmmaker Yash Chopra. Anupam called Yash Chopra his favorite director and best friend.
Anupam Kher recently took to his official Instagram handle, to share a post in remembrance of celebrated filmmaker Yash Chopra. The actor started his post in Hindi with a quote, “Remembering past happiness also brings sorrow!!”
He continued, “There are days when I miss #YashChopra Ji very very much. He was not only my favorite director and best friend but also one of the most wonderful human beings I had ever met. Warm, funny, earthy, romantic, compassionate, sensitive, joyous, and much more. For almost his last ten years if I was in Mumbai every morning I used to spend with him.”
The veteran actor concluded his post by revealing Yash Chopra loved Shayari. Anupam wrote, “He was a treasure trove of poetry! And friendship too!!”
Anupam Kher and Yash Chopra worked together in several successful films such as Vijay, Darr, Lamhe, Veer Zaara, and Jab Tak Hai Jaan, among others.
Filmmaker Yash Chopra died on October 21, 2012, at of age of 80. He was the founder of Yash Raj Films in 1970, which is among the biggest production houses in India.
