Indian actor and influencer Anushka Sen will soon make her K-drama debut. She just made her first trip to South Korea to start working on her debut project. The actress performed an interview with a media outlet in South Korea, while keeping quiet about her next project there. Anushka admitted in the interview that she began watching K-dramas in the year 2020. But she did not decide to pursue her career into K-dramas until she watched Anupam Tripathi in Squid Game.
Anushka Sen stated to the media outlet, “On the first day of its release, I was interested and watched Squid Game. Additionally, it has an Indian actor (Anupam Tripathi). He completely inspired me. I’d like to tell him that he motivated me to attempt this and broaden my horizons if I ever had the chance to meet him. I just had this idea (to make a K-drama) after seeing him in Squid Game.”
Anushka also described how she expanded her knowledge of Korean music. Anushka, a fan of BTS herself, mentioned that she had heard some of their songs and was curious in K-pop and Korean culture. She also admitted that her favorite member of the BTS is Kim Taehyung, nicknamed V.
During her trip to South Korea, Anushka was spotted relaxing by the pool and taking in the scenery with her crew. The actress is now preoccupied with filming music videos, working on her K-drama project, and other things.
