Arshi Khan, a former Bigg Boss 14 contestant is now gearing up for action scenes in her next web series ‘The Devil Inside.’ She is excited as well as ecstatic about her new role because it is the first of its sort in her career. Speaking to I.A.N.S, Arshi shared about his role and experience in ‘The Devil Inside’.
The 31-year-old actress discusses her on-screen character in the web series. Speaking about her role, Arshi said, “I am really excited to star in the series. It is full of entertainment, thrill, and suspense. I will be seen doing action in it. This is something new I’m going to experience in my acting career. I will be seen as ‘Kamini’ in it.”
While preparing for her role, the actress drew inspiration from Bollywood divas like Rani Mukerji and Kareena Kapoor Khan. “I am playing a powerful character. On one side, I am portraying a hot and glamorous woman, but at the same time people will experience my other side also. It’s a suspense movie, so there will be so many twists and turns and I will be seen doing action sequences. For my role I was watching Kareena Kapoor’s ‘Heroine’ to get me the glamour side. I also switched to Rani Mukerji’s ‘Mardaani’. It took me over a month to get myself prepared for this role,” the actress said.
The actress, who has appeared in television shows such as ‘Savitri Devi College & Hospital,’ ‘Vish,’ and ‘Ishq Mein Marjawan,’ will soon begin filming for her upcoming reality show, ‘Ayenge Tere Sajna’. She was also a contestant of Bigg Boss 14 last year, and her appearance on the show catapulted her into the spotlight. Arshi’s fans are ecstatic about her role in the upcoming web series.
