Bollywood actor Ashutosh Rana has been tested Covid-19 positive days after taking the first shot of the covid shield vaccine. The actor was tested positive on Tuesday and is under quarantine, following the protocols.
The actor took to his facebook page on Tuesday evening and informed his fans and well wishers in a long post that he has been tested positive for Covid-19 and those who came in contact with him should get tested.
He wrote, “Today is the beginning of the Indian New Year, it is called Chaitra Navatra, for Nine days today, Jagat janani, Maa Durga will be worshiped in India. But if you get information about the symptoms that are developing in your body on this auspicious day, then nothing good can happen. It is a special kindness of Jagat Janani that I came to know during my meeting today that I am suffering from the deadly virus.”
Earlier this month, Asutosh Rana with his wife Renuka Sahane received the first jab of the vaccine. Renuka took to twitter to inform about the same. She shared a picture with husband at BKC vaccine center.
In her tweet, she thanked the doctors and nurses and wrote, “Today we took the first dose of vaccine. Get vaccinated, wear a mask, keep social distance and keep your hands sanitized. Special thanks to all the doctors and nurses.”
On the work front, Ashutosh Rana was last seen in Netflix film Pagglait. The film also stars Sanya Malhotra, Sheeba Chaddha, Raguvir Yadav and Sayani Gupta.
