Nia Sharma remembered an awkward audition for a role in Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi. It was a “dumb talk” and a waste of her time, she said.
Nia Sharma, an actress, claimed she had only visited a ‘Bollywood office’ once, and it was not a nice experience. She recalled a meeting for a small part in Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, which she dismissed as a waste of time.
Nia stated that she does not want to be underestimated because she came from the television industry when she walks into a film director or producer’s office. She was questioned, “Have you met a prominent Bollywood director or producer who stated this to you as well?”
Kangana Ranaut played Rani Laxmibai in the film Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi. She also had a co-directing credit alongside Krish, the original director. She said she took over after he allegedly “abandoned” the project and reshot the majority of it. He, on the other hand, refuted the accusations and accused her of sabotaging his initiative.
Nia received her major debut in the drama Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai, where she portrayed Manvi Chaudhary, a parallel lead. She later appeared in Jamai Raja opposite Ravi Dubey.
Nia made her digital debut in 2017 with Vikram Bhatt’s online series Twisted, in which she co-starred with Rahul Sudhir and Namit Khanna. She reunited with Ravi in the second season of Jamai Raja, Jamai 2.0, a digital spin-off of their hit programme, earlier this year. She was also recently featured as a guest on Bigg Boss OTT.
