Madhuri Dixit and Sanjay Kapoor took a journey down memory lane by dancing to a tune from the 1990s that featured them. Sanjay posted a video on Instagram on Sunday that included himself, Madhuri, and actor-couple Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza.
Madhuri and Sanjay danced to Akhiyaan Milaoon Kabhi from their 1995 film Raja in the video. Singers Alka Yagnik and Udit Narayan sang the song. Inder Kumar directed and co-produced Raja, an action love drama. It also stars Paresh Rawal, Mukesh Khanna, Dalip Tahil, Rita Bhaduri, and Himani Shivpuri, in addition to Sanjay and Madhuri.
Riteish and Genelia joined the actors in the video as they executed the hook step of Akhiyaan Milaoon Kabhi. Madhuri donned a black suit to the celebration and let her hair free. Sanjay wore a white shirt, a denim jacket, and khaki pants.
On Saturday, the duo performed at Madhuri’s husband Dr Shriram Nene’s birthday celebration. Sanjay captioned the video, ” “Let’s go back to the 1990s. @madhuridixitnene @geneliad @riteishd @farahkhankunder @drneneofficial, what a night.” Sanjay Kapoor’s wife Maheep Kapoor reacted to the tweet by dropping red heart and clapping hands emojis. “Fabbb (fire and red heart emojis),” Neelam Kothari Soni said.
A video of Madhuri and Shriram dancing to the song Tamma Tamma Again from Badrinath Ki Dulhania leaked on the internet earlier in the day. “Happy Birthday Ram,” filmmaker Farah Khan captioned the video on her Instagram Stories. Putting Madhuri Dixit to the test. #CoupleGoals.”
Madhuri had posted a video montage of herself and Shriram on Instagram. It included photos of them together from their wedding through their trips over the years. “My husband, my buddy, my confidant, my heart, and the finest parent in the world, Happy Birthday #Birthday #Husband,” she wrote in the description.
Shriram and Madhuri married in 1999. Arin, the couple’s first child, was born in 2003, and Ryan, the couple’s second child, was born in 2005.
Madhuri will next be seen in The Fame Game, a Netflix series. This year’s debut date is February 25.
