Bhojpuri Lyricist Shyam Dehati passes away at the age of 33, due to Covid-19. He was contracted with the virus few days back and on Monday lost his battle with life while undergoing the treatment in Gorakhpur.
As soon as the news of his demise came out, a lot of celebs from Bhojpuri Film Industry. Celebs like Khesari Lal Yadav, Anjana Singh, Dinesh Lal Yadav and others poured in their condolences over social media platforms.
Shyam Dehati made his debut from the film ‘Nirhua rickshawala’ featuring Dinesh Lal Yadav and Aamrapali Dubey in 2007. He wrote songs for films of big stars of Bhojpuri including Khesari Lal Yadav, Ravi Kishan, Dinesh Lal Yadav, Manoj Tiwari. Apart from being a lyricist and a musician, he also made his debut as a actor from the film ‘Rani Dilbar Jani’ in 2017, but wasn’t successful. He was known for his work in movies like Saugandh Ganga Maiya Ki, Jab Pyar Kiya To Darna Kya, Nirahua Chalal sasural 2 to name a few.
Khesari Lal Yadav took to Twitter and penned an emotional note that read, “In Spite of our millions efforts, our brother Shyam Dehati is no more. Our heart feel so heavy as this message is not being shared with us. Brother, you are not in this world, but every song that you have written, will make us feel like you are among all of us…. God bless your Holy spirit… #RIPShyamDehati.”
Dinesh Lal Yadav, popularly known as Nirhua, took his official Instagram account to pay his tribute to Shyam and wrote in Hindi, “Shyam Dehati bhai nahi rahe.. Bhagwan bhai ki aatma ko shanty pradaan kare.. Parivaar jaano ko iss dukh ki ghadi mai shanti pradan kare.. Om Shanti!”
