The upcoming horror-comedy film Bhoot Police will be releasing on the OTT platform, Disney+Hotstar. The makers of the film made an announcement on Monday, July 5 with the first look poster. Bhoot Police stars Saif Ali Khan, Arjun Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, Yami Gautam, and Jaaved Jaaferi in pivotal roles.
The makers of Bhoot Police announced today that the film will be released directly on Disney+Hotstar. Earlier, the film was slated to release in theatres in September this year. The first-look poster of Saif Ali Khan’s character in the film was also revealed today. Sharing the first-look poster of the film on the official Twitter handle of Tips Films and Music wrote, “Don’t fear the paranormal and feel ‘Saif’ with VIBHOOTI. #BhootPolice Coming soon on @DisneyplusHSVIP.”
In an interview with an online portal earlier, producer Ramesh Taurani had spoken about the digital release of the film. The filmmaker stated, “I had no option. I don’t see the theatres opening before November 2021, and that too at 50 percent capacity. The way things are going, it’s still going to take a lot of time to go back to old times.”
“Look, I was supposed to release Bhoot Police in September 2021. I felt that it would be better in the present scenario if I stick to my original month. So yes, Bhoot Police will be released on OTT mostly in September, or October,” the producer added.
Further, he revealed, as he has got a good deal, he wants to release the film on the OTT platform. To this, he said, “I have got a good deal. I do not discuss money in the public domain but I can tell you that I have not been shortchanged.”
