Big Hit Music is BTS’ label and prior to their international promotions, they have informed the authorities and the fans that all BTS members along with their staff members have been fully vaccinated.
Big Hit Music announced this news with Newsen before BTS’ visit to the Blue House. They said, “Vaccinations were carried out ahead of our special promotional activities and overseas schedules.
We are preparing for new schedules and types of performances. When the plans are confirmed, we will share a separate announcement.”
Ever since the news came out, fans had been hoping for an overseas tour however nothing has been confirmed since the pandemic is pretty widespread and harmful. On the other hand, it was revealed that BTS and the staff will no more have to hold out for 2 whole weeks when they return from overseas. Residents of Korea who have been fully vaccinated within the country do not need to quarantine for 2-weeks, but instead, they will need to take a PCR test and quarantine until their result is out, usually within 24 hours. Should they test negative, they are free to leave quarantine and are simply required to take another PCR test 6 days after they return to Korea.
BTS will be attending the 76th UN General Assembly from September 21-27. This will be their third attendance.
