Shamita Shetty is a Bigg Boss OTT contestant. The popular reality show premiered on August 8, and is hosted by Karan Johar. The actress is currently in the Bigg Boss house, and she was seen talking to contestant Divya Agarwal about choreographer Nishant Bhat in the previous day’s episode. She made some unexpected revelations about him regarding an incident that occurred with her some time ago. He crossed the line with her, she said, and they didn’t speak after that incident.
Speaking on maintain distance after that incident that took place, Shamita shared with the leading daily that, I don’t want to mention what incident it was, but he once crossed the line with me and I didn’t like it. I told him sternly that he did wrong and he didn’t speak to me after that. I just thought I should keep a distance from him because I don’t want to be reminded of that. At the stage also when I saw him I just reacted that I know him.”
While the actress is in locked inside the Bigg Boss house, her sister Shilpa Shetty and her family are going through a difficult time. She revealed about the same on Bigg Boss OTT platform. “Waqt achcha ho, bura ho, jab hum saans lena nahi chhodte, toh hum kaam kyun chhode? And honestly, Bigg Boss ka offer mujhe bohot time pehle aaya tha aur maine commitment kar di thi uss waqt,” said the actress.
Shamita stated that she was unsure about being the part of Bigg Boss OTT, after the tough time that she and her family is facing, but she had made a pledge and would not break it, and therefore she is on the show.
Bigg Boss OTT is available 24 hours on Voot and it will run for six weeks on digital platform, and will later get launch on Television, where superstar Salman Khan will be seen hosting the reality show.
