BLACKPINK is one of the most renowned kpop groups in the world. They have achieved some awesome feats and broken records that people didn’t think were possible. BLACKPINK is soon going to celebrate its 5th anniversary. To commemorate 5 years since their debut, BLACKPINK is releasing a special project titled ‘BLACKPINK 4+1 PROJECT.’
The girl band has now announced one segment of their project! They are going to release a movie ‘BLACKPINK THE MOVIE’. Their agency, YG Entertainment, announced the movie in a press conference on June 16th. The movie is scheduled to release in August 2021, on the day of BLACKPINK’s debut anniversary. It will be screened on August 8th and fans can view it by CGV in Korea and 100 more countries!
The movie will showcase some special and specific pieces. “The room of memories” will be showing the BLACKPINK girls discussing their memories of the last 5 years. The ‘beauty’ segment will portray the different sides and personalities of the members. Another segment titled “unreleased special interview” will let the fans see clips from some unreleased interviews.
This is just one project and many more are yet to come! YG Entertainment will be announcing them at later dates.
