Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn went down memory lane today, June 18 to celebrate 22 years of the film Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam.
Ajay Devgn took to Instagram on Friday, to share throwback pictures with the film’s director and the co-stars. Sharing pictures from the film’s sets, he wrote, “22 years of Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam; Salman, Sanjay, Ash & I knew we were making a super-sensitive film. Didn’t think that it would create history. Humbled #22YearsOfHumDilDeChukeSanam.”
About the film
The film was directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the romantic drama featured Ajay Devgn, Salman Khan, and Aishwarya Rai. The film, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam was a commercial success and bagged many awards, for its beautiful soundtrack.
Earlier, On June 7, Ajay’s film The Legend of Bhagat Singh clocked 19 years of its release. Sharing a throwback picture from the 2002 film, he wrote a special note. He wrote, “It is not sufficient to play a revolutionary like Bhagat Singhji, once in your lifetime & career. You need to keep him there constantly… After all, these are those who wrote history with their blood #19YearsOfTheLegendOfBhagatSingh #RajkumarSantoshi.”
What on the work front?
Ajay Devgn will be seen in the film inspired by the life of football coach Syed Abdul Rahim, ‘Maidaan’. He also has several other movies lined up namely, RRR, MayDay, Gangubai Kathiawadi, Bhuj: The Pride of India, Thank God in his pipeline.
Ajay will also make a cameo appearance in Sooryavanshi. The film features Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif.
