Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar who was admitted to hospital in Mumbai earlier this month after testing covid-19 positive, is back home.
His wife Twinkle Khanna shared a caricature post of her with husband Akshay on her Instagram handle and informed the fans that he is back home. She wrote, “Safe and sound and good to have him back around. #allizwell.”
Earlier, the actor informed via social media that he has been tested positive for novel corona virus and wrote, “I wish to inform everyone that, earlier this morning, I have tested positive for COVID-19. Following all the protocols, I have immediately isolated myself. I am under home quarantine and have sought necessary medical care. I would sincerely request all those that have come I contact with me to get themselves tested and take care. Back in action very soon!”
But later, he was admitted to the hospital in Mumbai as a precautionary measure. He took to his twitter account to inform and penned, “Thank you everyone for all your warm wishes and prayers, they seem to be working. I am doing fine, but as a precautionary measure under medical advice, I have been hospitalized. I hope to be back home soon. Take care.”
Akshay Kumar was shooting for a film Ram Setu when he was tested positive. Also, as many as 45 incoming junior artistes from the cast were tested covid-19 positive.
On the work front, the actor has films like Atrangi Re, Bachchan Pandey, Raksha Bandhan, Prithviraj, Mission Lion, Bellbottom, Sooryavanshi, Ikka, Singham 3 in the pipeline for release.
