Angad Bedi and Neha Dhupia are all set to embrace parenthood once again. On Monday, the power couple officially announced on social media that they are expecting their second child. Angad and Neha are already parents to daughter, Mehr.
The couple took to their respective Instagram account and shared an adorable family photo. In an interview now, Angad opens up on being a father for the second time.
Speaking with an e-portal, Angad Bedi expressed his excitement and said that having a child is a blessing. He said, “It’s the most beautiful experience ever. To have a child is a blessing from the universe and not everybody is blessed to be in this situation. We are really happy.”
The actor further shared, that he along with his actress wife had discussed the idea of having a sibling for their daughter. “We had discussed thinking of having a sibling for Mehr. But we didn’t know, it would be so soon. We are grateful that it has happened at the right time.”
Talking about Neha, Angad Bedi spoke about how it’s challenging for her but the actress is keeping well in terms of health, Bedi said, “It’s a different experience and not easy on her. But she is keeping her spirits up, working and finishing all her projects keeping the timelines in mind. We are happy to bring in a new family member soon. For me, her health is of prime experience.”
Later, Bedi expressed how he always wanted to be a young father. He said, “Nothing can be bigger than this. The relationship between a parent and a kid is the most empowering. I always wanted to be a young father as that enables one to grow with the children. I want to be in a space where I can be their friend while growing up.”
Recently, Neha Dhupia revealed that when she was in her first-trimester pregnancy, Angad was down with COVID-19.
