Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana is well-known for his unique choice of films. The actor is off to Bhopal to kick start the shooting for his upcoming film, Doctor G. Ayushmann took to Instagram stories to drop glimpses of his journey from Mumbai to Bhopal. The actor also shared how he was welcomed by the ‘city of lakes.
Taking to his Instagram handle, Ayushmann Khurrana shared several glimpses from the time he took off from Mumbai till the time he landed in Bhopal. In the photos shared, we can see the actor clad in a mask and shades as he takes off with his team.
In one of the snaps, he can be seen holding the script of Doctor G close to his heart. While in another photo, he can be seen posing while coming out of the plane. The actor also shared a glimpse of the city while heading to the hotel. When he reached his hotel, the ‘Vicky Donor’ actor received a warm welcome with a cake for him.
Back in April, Ayushmann Khurrana and Rakul Preet Singh began script reading sessions and shared glimpses of it with their fans on social media. The film will feature Ayushmann in the role of a doctor. The film will be a directorial debut of Anubhuti Kashyap. The film is backed by Junglee Pictures.
Earlier, when Ayushmann had announced this film, he had revealed that he fell in love with the script. He had told a leading daily, “Doctor G is a script that I fell in love with instantly because it is super fresh.
It is an extremely unique and innovative concept that will make you laugh and also make you ponder. I am excited to don the doctor’s coat for the first time in my career and also deliver a message in the process that will hopefully speak directly to your hearts.”
Besides this, Ayushmann also has Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui opposite Vaani Kapoor, helmed by Abhishek Kapoor.
