Babil Khan, son of late actor Irrfan Khan on Monday shared a bunch of pictures of his dad on Instagram, remarking that he has an ‘insane legacy’ to live up to. Babil posted some priceless behind-the-scenes snapshots of the late actor from the sets of his 2016 film, ‘Inferno.’ In the pictures shared, Irrfan can be posing with Steve Buscemi, Felicity Jones, and Tom Hanks, among others.
Captioning the pictures, Babil wrote, ”I have an insane legacy to live up to”. As soon as he shared the pictures, fans showered love in the comments section.
Most of Babil’s social media posts are dedicated to his late father. Recently, the budding actor received his graduation degree from the University of Westminster, London, despite having dropped out of college. Earlier, Babil had announced in a social media post that he is choosing to not continue his studies further in a bid to pursue acting. However, he shared a photo of his degree on Instagram and captioned: “Somehow I’ve managed to drop out and get my degree.”
Babil’s mother Sutapa Sikdar revealed in the comment section that Irrfan wanted him to complete his studies. She wrote, “Blessed I feel baba wanted you to finish the course so so much ..love u… Babila ‘let’s rocks jai Mata di.”
On the work front, Babil is all set to make his acting debut with ‘Qala’, also starring Triptii Dimri. Directed by Anvitaa Dutt, the film is
produced by Anushka Sharma and her brother Karnesh Sharma. Babil Khan also has filmmaker Shoojit Sircar’s upcoming project.
