Deepika Padukone has been tested positive of novel corona virus on Tuesday. The actress hasn’t posted the confirmation but as per reports she has also tested positive of the deadly virus after her family members. The actress is in Bangalore with her family.
On Tuesday, her father and former badminton player Prakash Padukone was hospitalized in Bengaluru after experiencing prolonged fever. Deepika’s mother, Ujjala Padukona and her younger sister Anisha Padukone has also been diagnosed with the coronavirus and are under home quarantine.
Meanwhile, Deepika Padukone is creating awareness through her social media on importance of mental health. She recently shared a list of verified mental health help lines with their contact details. She highlighted the significance of mental and emotional health during the ongoing pandemic.
She captioned her post as, “As millions of us (me and my family included) strive to stay afloat, let us not forget that our emotional well-being in this current crisis, is equally important! Remember, you are not alone. We are in this together. And most importantly, there is hope! #YouAreNotAlone @tillfoundation.”
On the work front, Deepika has multiple projects lined up. She has movies like ‘Fighter’, ‘The Intern’, ‘83’, ‘Sanki’, ‘Pathan’, ‘Baiju Bawra’ in the pipeline. She will also be seen in Shakun Batra’s untitled next also starring Ananya Pandey and Siddhant Chaturvedi.
