Veteran actor Dilip Kumar, who was hospitalized at Hinduja Hospital, Mumbai on June 6, has been discharged today. Dilip Saab was admitted after the complaint of breathlessness.

Faisal Farooqui, who handles his Twitter account, updated the fans and well-wishers about his health and mentioned he is going home today (June 11).

Sharing the news of Dilip Saab’s discharge, he wrote, “With your love and affection, and your prayers, Dilip Saab is going home from the hospital. God’s infinite mercy and kindness through Drs. Gokhale, Parkar, Dr. Arun Shah, and the entire team at Hinduja Khar. – Faisal Farooqui #DilipKumar #healthupdate.”

Earlier, on June 6 the news of the veteran actor’s hospitalization was shared on his Twitter handle. The tweet read “Dilip Sahab has been admitted to non-Covid PD Hinduja Hospital Khar for routine tests and investigations. He’s had episodes of breathlessness. A team of healthcare workers led by Dr. Nitin Gokhale is attending to him. Please keep Sahab in your prayers and please stay safe.”

Dilip Kumar was on December 11, 1922, as Muhammad Yusuf Khan and made his acting debut for the film Jwar Bhata in 1944. He came in limelight in 1947 from the film Jugnu. The legendary actor Dilip Kumar is popularly known for his performances in films like Ram Aur Shyam (1955), Naya Daur (1957), Mughal-e-Azam (1960), Ganga Jamuna (1961), among others.
