Saira Banu, the Veteran actress of Bollywood was admitted to Mumbai’s Hinduja Hospital earlier this week due to health issues. She was taken to the ICU after complaining of chest tightness. According to a recent report, Saira Banu’s health is improving, and she will most likely be moved out of the ICU tomorrow that is Saturday.

The 77-year-old actor was treated for left ventricular failure with ischaemia, according to a report by Indian Express. Saira Banu’s treating consultant is Dr. Nitin Gokhale. Saira Banu’s late husband and actor Dilip Kumar was also admitted in the same hospital. According to a source, “Saira Banu was treated for left ventricular failure with ischaemia and is out of crisis. She will probably be shifted out of the ICU tomorrow as conveyed by the treating consultant Dr. Nitin Gokhale.”

Dr Nitin Gokhale who is a Cardiologist and is treating Saira Banu told ETimes, “She is fine, she has completely stabilised, and we will be moving her out of the ICU either tonight or tomorrow.”

Faisal Farooqui, who is a spokeperson from Saira Banu and Dilip Kumar’s family had earlier revealed that, She was admitted to Hinduja Hospital at Khar three days ago due to chest congestion. She is now stable, and under a lot of observation and abundance of precautions, considering the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.” Further the spokeperson added more about her condition. Speaking on same he said, “Dilip saab ki death ke baad she suffered a lot of stress, and that has also added to her health struggle.”

Bollywood star Dharmendra also told ETimes that Banu had told him she wasn’t feeling well. Speaking on the same he said, I couldn’t reach her and she had called back. She told me that she has not been keeping well…I did not ask too many questions but you can understand how she must be feeling after Dilip Kumar passed away.”
